The recent IoT Festival 2019 in Melbourne was a huge success for the Australian IoT ecosystem and community of vendors and customers.
With around 500 in attendance at the new venue of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event delivered high-quality content and speakers as well as showcasing some of the market’s leading solution providers.
This year, Reekoh was proud to be a Gold Sponsor after attending and sponsoring in previous years. Our recently expanded team worked tirelessly throughout the day with visitors to our expo booth, demonstrating some of the new features in the Reekoh integration platform and how much easier it’s becoming with Reekoh to bring together data from fragmented IoT solutions and devices with enterprise business applications.
CEO and Co-founder Dale Rankine also presented a session on “The Integrated Data Landscape”, demonstrating through Reekoh case studies how enterprise customers are now looking at how to move beyond “situational awareness” and monitoring with IoT, to automated business responses and leveraging existing IT infrastructure and investment.
Later in the day, Dale was also honored to announce and present the IoT Pioneer Award to Blue IoT’s Bob Sharon for his work in smart buildings.
We wish to thank the organisers NextMedia, and the many people who assisted us in making this event such a success for us. Our attention now turns to the next upcoming event – Gartner’s Application Architecture, Development and Integration (AADI) Summit in Sydney, July 29-30.
